anonym.today provides automated detection and anonymization of personally identifiable information (PII) in text documents. Our service uses machine learning and pattern recognition to identify sensitive data and replace it with anonymized values.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit malware or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

6. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will detect all PII or that anonymization will be 100% effective. You are responsible for verifying the output meets your compliance requirements.
In no event shall anonym.today be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
7. Payment Terms
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
